… main difference between pessimism, optimism and happiness, is probably brevity.
Pessimism says: “I will never have what I want”.
Optimism says: ” I will have what I want.”
Happiness says: ” I have what I want “.

I’m at I might get what I want… So does that make me a pessi-optimist?.. It sounds like a transformer so I’ll take it…I wonder what my transform would be? I’m thinking a fence…

Well… I think you hold the answer… in what you wrote there’s “might” (like in All-Mighty…) and “get”, which puts you in a action taking perspective… so… I would definitely erase the “pessi” part of you self-definition… 😉🤗😄

I think it’s a matter of level of blood sugar. When it’s low I’m pessimistic, and normal okay with things and up there, optimistic.

If happiness is thought of as gratification of desire, it is related to the setting up of the bar or level at which man experiences contentment, satisfaction, and satiation. High expectations lead to anxiety and pessimism. Very low expectations lead to cheapness and optimism.
